This course is designed to provide a foundation in the use of quantitative methods and decision support systems in managerial decision-making.

The course covers two separate areas of quantitative methods and decision support systems. The first is statistical tools and the second is mathematical modeling. Both are important areas that are increasingly being utilized in decision-making at all levels.

The emphasis of the course will be on the understanding and application of these techniques in a spreadsheet environment rather than on the mathematics of these techniques.
