The purpose of this course is to understand the impact of international financial markets on domestic economy and companies.
International capital markets have become very important since the 1990s as the movement of capital has increased throughout the globe, due to increased globalization of the world economies.
The course consists of macro part, that focuses on current account, external debt and exchange rate determination; and micro part, that examines foreign exchange market, hedging currency risks, international portfolio diversification and capital structure in an international setting.
