The main objective of the course is to provide an overview of financial intermediation and intermediaries, with emphasis on commercial banks.
The course prepares the students, as future top business managers, to understand how banks work and how to access finance for their firms.
Most of the themes in the course are addressed with emphasis on the Croatian business environment and other similar emerging economies.
Teaching methods combine lecture / discussions, videos, and analysis of real-life cases and current events.
