The aim of this course is to prepare students to start new companies more successfully, to manage risky high-growth enterprises more efficiently, and to work in entrepreneurial environments more effectively. It discusses entrepreneurship at multiple levels, including the individual, the team, and the organization.
Special emphasis is placed on managing and balancing both the strategic and the human aspects of the new venture as it evolves and changes through the start-up and high-growth phases of operation.
Students will be encouraged to integrate their personal business and entrepreneurial experiences into the flow of the course, and the instructor will do the same.
