Patricia McDougall, Professor of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship from Kelley School of Business, has presented a lecture "South-East Asian Economies – Challenges and Opportunities (Vietnam Case)". The lecture was aimed to Croatian business audience, in addition to IGBS Zagreb students and alumni, to acquaint them with the possibilities of doing business in SE Asia, specifically Vietnam, considered to be the world's next China.
IGBS Zagreb has organized this lecture in cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Economy-Zagreb Chamber. The lecture in English took place on Tuesday, September 14, starting at 10:00 a.m. in Croatian Chamber of Economy, Council Hall (Vijećnica), Rooseveltov trg 2.
Last January Professor McDougall represented the Kelley School of Business on a hosted two-week visit to businesses in Vietnam, sponsored by U.S. Centers for International Business Education and Research. CIBERs are federal government funded centers (35 total) which are located at various universities in the U.S. It was an extremely interesting program that provided the participants access to government and business leaders throughout Vietnam.
