On Tuesday, July 19, 2011, Zdeslav Šantić, chief macroeconomic analyst in Societe Generale - Splitska banka d.d. presented a guest lecture on the topic „Western Balkan economies: before & after the crisis". The guest lecture was part of International Macroeconomics course for MBA students.
Mr. Šantić has illustrated the situation in Croatia and the region in relation to several factors such as current deficit, GDP growth, FX exposure, rigidity of labour market, tax burden, FDI composition, national competitiveness, etc. and has answered to numerous questions from Professor Catalin Stefanescu and the students.
