On Thursday, November 19, 2009, Marija Tufekčić, M.Sc., director of the Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA), held a guest lecture as part of „Managerial Economics“ course. CFCA has the role of implementation agency, which means that it is responsible for financing, contracting, payment and monitoring of the implementation of programmes and projects funded by the European Union.
She talked about the organizational structure and development of CFCA over the years. Some past examples of sucessful utilization of EU funds, as well as possibilities and procedures for funding projects in Croatia, were discussed with students.
