In May of this year, IGBS alumni that are enrolled in Kelley Direct M.Sc. Programs have participated in the graduation ceremony at Indiana University campus in Bloomington. The ceremony that lasted two days consisted of two events:
Indiana University Graduate Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 7 - this ceremony is the commencement for all IU Bloomington graduate students at which degrees are being conferred . There were approximately 7,000 students graduating over the course of the weekend.
In addition there are nearly 50 school and department recognition celebrations. For IGBS students in KD programs it was followed by the school recognition celebration:
Kelley Direct Graduate Recognition Ceremony on Saturday, May 8 - this ceremony is specifically designed to recognize the graduating Kelley Direct class. It is complete with caps, gowns, and all the pomp and circumstance the graduates have earned. It was followed by reception and dinner in the Kelley School of Business.
The Kelley Direct Master of Science programs are designed for professionals who want to earn a graduate degree from a top-ranked school while continuing their employment. The degree awarded to students completing these programs is a Master of Science from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
