Management Education Program (PUMA) of Croatian Employers' Association has organized a lecture for its members on Thursday, March 18, 2010, delivered in cooperation with IGBS Zagreb. The lecture entitled: „Managing Organizational Effectiveness in Today's Economic Environment" was presented by Keith G. Dayton, senior lecturer of management from Kelley School of Business.
He has discussed what defines effectiveness in today's environment ‐ and does that effectiveness include adding value, duplication, competitiveness and sustainability or are our efforts based on simply keeping our business afloat? More importantly ‐ how can we strategically position our efforts regardless of the economic climate? And what are some tools to utilize that match our efforts, and our budget.
Managers from Gavrilović, Podravka, Croatian Motorways, Ministry of regional development, forestry and water management, Croatian Standards Institute, Institute of Safety Research and Development, City of Zagreb's Economic Office, Oktal Pharma, Coris Educa, and Svan Consulting, joined by numerous IGBS Zagreb Alumni members, have attended the lecture.
