Hana Milanov
Entrepreneurship
Hana Milanov, Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at Instituto de Empresa, in Madrid, Spain, is teaching the „Entrepreneurship" course at IGBS Zagreb for the first time. She joined Instituto de Empresa's faculty in 2007 upon finishing her doctoral studies in entrepreneurship and strategy at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. Her research bridges these two disciplines through a special interest in social networks. Specifically, she explores how entrepreneurs can efficiently enter industry networks, the uncertainties surrounding the formation of new alliances, as well as the mechanisms through which entrepreneurs can position themselves in the network in order to benefit most from privileged access to various resources. Previously, she worked as a junior research assistant at the Institute of Economics, Zagreb.
